| One early
morning Pujyapad B.A. Paramadvaiti Maharaja went
to Imlitala Gaudiya Math and found that a big branch
of the Imlitala tree on the floor. Curious what
devotees would do with that branch Paramadvaiti Maharaja
approached Sripad Damodar Maharaja and inquired.
Damodar Maharaja replied that he did not know and
Paramadvaiti Maharaja asked if he could take the
branch to Vrinda-kunja? Damodar Maharaja smiled and
said: "What a sannyasi will do with a big piece
of wood?". But Maharaja agreed and immediately
devotees from Vrinda-kunja came to transport the
holy branch. While devotees were carefully cutting
the wood into pieces Paramadvaiti Maharaja looked
at one particular piece and discovered that it was
Mahaprabhu who appeared standing in a dancing position
with his two arms in the sky. Today Imlitala Mahaprabhu
is worshipped in Yamuna-kunja, which is located next
to Imlitala. Devotees from different parts of the
world come here and in a mood of gratefulness remember
how the divine couple Sri Sri Radha and Krishna united
in Imlitala to become Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the
incarnation of God who indiscrimately distributes
divine love to everyone. A small Mahaprabhu was also
carved from the branch and is worshipped in Vrinda-kunja.
When Pujyapad Srila B.P. Puri Maharaja was approached
and asked wether Mahaprabhu should be installed,
Srila Puri Maharaja replied that there is no need
for an installation as Mahaprabhu was already present. |

"So
this is Imlitala, where the divine couple has manifested
in a joined form as Caitanya Mahaprabhu. This is
Imlitala, the land of love, the origin of the distribution,
when madhurya becomes audarya, that is when Sri Caitanya
Mahaprabhu appears in this world and He goes out
and He distributes that mercy all over the world
and that is why we are here. We are the living proof,
the evidence of, that the Supreme Autocrat is supremely
merciful, that He wants to bring us here. Everytime
I am coming and seeing the Yamuna-kunja, I am walking
into a dream."
